Plant nutrition is a subject that studies the absorption of nutrients from the environment, the ways of nutrient transport and the construction of organisms by plants themselves. It is a cross-discipline related to the fields of soil, biology, resources, environment, ecology and fertilizer. Its task is through biological field experiments, biological simulation, chemical experimental analysis, enzyme diagnosis, radionuclide technology and mathematical statistics. The mechanism of transformation and utilization of nutrients and the specific processes of nutrient exchange, energy transfer and stress adaptation between plants and the external environment were analyzed. Its purpose is to improve the soil environment and crop yield and quality by studying the mechanism of absorption, transport and utilization of nutrients and the law of scientific distribution and energy transformation of nutrients in plants, combined with soil physical and chemical properties, nutrient return and the regulation or improvement of plant genetic characteristics. As a compulsory core course for students majoring in agriculture, plant nutrition is closely related to agricultural production practice. It is of great significance in ensuring national food security, promoting the healthy development of fertilizers, improving the quality of agricultural products and protecting the ecological environment. Therefore,on the basis of summarizing the experience of the construction of plant nutrition courses in colleges and universities in China, andutilizing the unique teaching environment and teaching practice of Tibetan universities, this paper summarizes the shortcomings in the teaching of traditional plant nutrition courses in colleges and universities in ethnic minority areas.this paper puts forward some suggestions which are suitable for the teaching of plant nutrition courses in Tibetan colleges and universities,so as to provide help for the cultivation of high-tech talents who can go,understand technology and love agriculture.
