In the context of the construction of new agricultural science,strengthening the training of new agricultural talents is an important measure to realize agricultural and rural modernization and accelerate Rural Revitalization Strategy.farming and reading education as a fine tradition of Chinese traditional history and culture,understanding the source of farming and reading culture,interpreting the connotation of farming and reading culture and popularizing farming and reading mode are important means to strengthen the construction of farming and reading education system in agricultural colleges and universities.This paper is based on farming and reading education and integrates the education mode of agricultural colleges and universities.By establishing the thought of farming and reading,creating characteristic courses,establishing assessment mechanism,strengthening teachers and improving publicity,we should strengthen the construction of characteristic education model and explore the practical path of tillage and reading education,so as to train new agricultural talents for the construction of new agricultural science.
