As a basic theory course for agricultural majors,plant physiology is a highly theoretical and practical course.However,there are many teaching contents in this course,and it is difficult.The traditional teaching mode of one-way indoctrination by teachers and passive acceptance by students is not conducive to the cultivation of high-quality innovative talents needed for agricultural modernization.Case-based teaching can arouse students'enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge,and help to cultivate students'innovative thinking ability.This paper constructs the case base of plant physiology course,and implements case-based teaching in this course,with the help of case-based teaching to strengthen students'mastery and application of the course,and further improve the teaching quality.
