This paper uses CiteSpace visual literature analysis tool to analyze 498 effective documents on the impact of rural labor force aging upon agricultural production included in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database from 2001 to 2024,and draws the knowledge structure map of core author groups,research institutions and research hotspots.The results show that since 2001,the research literature on the effects of aging of rural productive forcesupon agricultural production has been increasing,characterized by obvious stages;more authors and researchers of the same workplace or region,less cross-regional and cross-unit cooperation,and groups of prolific authors have not been formed;aging,land transfer,agricultural production,technical efficiency,rural revitalization and agricultural economy are the forefront of the research of rural labor force aging on agricultural production.Finally,this paper makes a summary and puts forward the prospect for the future.
