The proposal of the carbon peak and neutrality targets pose a big challenge to talent cultivation in the new era,and the roles of agroforestry meteorological-related fields are highlighted in the process of achieving the"dual carbon"strategic goals. Therefore, the reform of the Agroforestry Meteorology curriculum should center around the"dual carbon"concept, considering how to integrate"dual carbon"goals with meteorological knowledge and innovate teaching methods and approaches, thus constructing a comprehensive theoretical framework of carbon knowledge. It should combine the"dual carbon"concept with the core socialist values, providing students with diverse teaching and research experiences.Furthermore,it should strengthen connections with relevant platforms to achieve the construction of a high-quality and specialized talent pool for"dual carbon"professionals. The purpose of this curriculum reform is to cultivate agroforestry meteorological talents with a"dual carbon"logical mind and provide sustainable talents that guarantee the achievement of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
