With the widespread application of Internet technology,the agricultural industry is undergoing digital and intelligent innovation.As an emerging industrial form,leisure agriculture integrates agriculture,tourism,leisure and other elements and has become an important driving force for rural revitalization.However,there are currently problems such as talent shortage in the development of the leisure agriculture industry,which requires horticulture education students to have innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities to meet the needs of the industry.This paper discusses the importance of cultivating the innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities of horticulture education students to adapt to industrial needs and promote industrial innovation and development.Through various means such as innovative curriculum setting,strengthening practical activities,mentor guidance and support,and incentive for innovation and entrepreneurship competitions,building a comprehensive training model can effectively enhance students'innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities.This new model will help stimulate students'entrepreneurial passion,promote the innovative development of the horticulture industry,inject new vitality into industrial development and promote economic growth.Horticulture education should adapt to the"Internet Plus"era,cultivate students'innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities,and promote agricultural modernization and the development of leisure agriculture.
