In order to understand the current situation of the coupling and coordinated development of rural digital economy and agricultural eco-efficiency in China,based on the panel data of 30 provinces from 2016 to 2020,the evaluation index system of rural digital economy and agricultural eco-efficiency was established respectively,and the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics and regional differences of the two were empirically analyzed by using Entropy Method,super-efficiency SBM,coupling coordination degree and other research methods.The study found that the development level of digital economy in rural areas of China generally shows a trend of ups and downs,but in general,the agricultural ecological benefits in rural areas are not high.The coupling coordination value of rural digital economy and agricultural eco-efficiency is generally above 0.7,and it has remained relatively stable during the study period.
