The purpose of this paper is to explore how vocational education can contribute to the cultivation of high-quality farmers and thus promote the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.First,it introduces the background of the research,points out practical problems such as insufficient rural talent structure and rural economic transformation needs,and expounds the important role of vocational education in solving these problems.Secondly,it discusses the concept and characteristics of vocational education,as well as the connotation and requirements of high-quality farmers,and emphasizes the close connection between vocational education and the cultivation of high-quality farmers.Then,it analyzes the problems and challenges faced by vocational education in cultivating farmers,such as the disconnect between courses and actual needs,single teaching methods,and insufficient industry docking.Then,it puts forward the implementation path for vocational education to help train high-quality farmers,including optimizing curriculum settings,innovating teaching methods,and deepening industrial docking.
