Farming and reading education in agricultural colleges and universities is an effective means to cultivate talents for rural revitalization.This paper investigates the employment intention planning and actual employment situation of 348 agricultural undergraduate students at Liaocheng University,and proposes to improve the construction of the new agricultural curriculum system by setting up farming and reading education courses,innovating courses and ideological and political education,jointly building internship practice platforms,participating in professional subject competitions and exploring traditional agricultural culture.Cultivating contemporary rural builders who love the countryside and are willing to take root at the grassroots level has practical value for demonstrating and driving the reform of agricultural professional education and teaching.
