This paper explores the central role of cultural inheritance in China's rural revitalization,and analyzes its contribution to economic growth,social progress,and environmental protection.Through literature review,case analysis and field investigation,the research shows that cultural inheritance plays an important role in promoting rural economic diversification,enhancing community cohesion and protecting ecological environment.Taking Hongcun in Anhui Province,the Old Town of Lijiang,and the ancient Tea-horse Ancient Road as examples,it shows how cultural inheritance can promote economic and social development,but also faces challenges such as the balance between culture and economy,the difficulty of passing on traditional skills,and the maintenance of cultural authenticity.This paper proposes a new cultural inheritance and innovation model with local characteristics,emphasizes the important role of local governments in the protection and inheritance of cultural relics,and proposes to develop cultural tourism products through policy support,incentive mechanism and community participation,so as to better integrate cultural inheritance into rural revitalization and promote the coordinated development of rural economy,society and culture.
