Smart Animal Husbandry in the context of new agricultural science is a professional elective course for animal science majors and an important course for training animal science professionals with modern animal husbandry literacy.This paper explores the reform of the curriculum from the perspective of teaching design and teaching model,proposing to focus on students,highlight the main line of pre-class learning-after-class review,and intersperse in-class learning with teaching design of ideological and political themes based on the teaching content.We should do a good job in reforming the teaching model of"5 preparations and 1 design"such as preparing learning conditions,preparing teaching materials,preparing teaching content,preparing teaching methods,and applying it in the actual teaching process.In order to improve the teaching effect and student learning effect,and provide reference for the construction or teaching reform of new agricultural courses of the same type.
