Chinese medicinal herbs are the material basis for the development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry. With the rapid development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry,the planting area of Chinese medicinal herbs continues to expand,and the continuous cropping obstacles of Chinese medicinal herbs seriously affect the yield and quality of Chinese medicinal herbs. As a natural high-quality fertilizer,green manure has the advantages of improving soil fertility,improving soil structure,and increasing soil nutrients. Therefore,green manure can be used as an important measure to alleviate continuous cropping obstacles in the cultivation of Chinese medicinal herbs. Studies have shown that the application of green manure crops to traditional Chinese medicinal herbs can improve the yield and quality of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs. At the same time,it can also improve the soil conditions for the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs,reduce the use of chemical fertilizers,and lay the foundation for environmentally friendly sustainable development and the green development of the traditional Chinese medicinal herbs industry.
