Since the 14th Five Year Plan,new breakthroughs have been made in the improvement of rural living environment in China,but there are still problems such as weak foundation,multiple problems,single participating entities,and fragmented gov-ernance in some areas. This article analyzes the current problems and reasons for the improvement of rural living environment in China from the perspective of the participation of multiple entities in rural environmental governance. With the core of building a mechanism for sharing interests and the purpose of stimulating the endogenous motivation of multiple entities,it proposes a specific implementation path for functional departments to collaborate,coordinate village planning,expand financing channels,innovate con-struction and management models,unite villages,solve fragmented problems,increase publicity and education,awaken villagers' sense of ownership,follow the laws of rural development,and promote rural revitalization through culture.
