Rural economic development is the key path to achieve rural revitalization. The current imbalance between urban and rural economic and cultural development is relatively obvious. Therefore,studying whether there is a correlation between rural eco-nomic development and urban-rural coordination is of practical significance for narrowing the urban-rural economic and cultural gap and achieving rural revitalization. Using the statistical data of Northeast China from 2015 to 2022,two systems of rural economic de-velopment level and urban-rural coordination level are constructed. A weighting method combining entropy weight method and CRITIC method is selected to calculate the comprehensive scores of the two systems over the years. At the same time,the Tapio decoupling model is used to build decoupling elasticity formula. Through analyzing the decoupling status of the two systems over the years,it is found that there is a negative decoupling trend in Jilin and Liaoning systems,and there is a decoupling trend in Heilongjiang.
