Fruit Tree Breeding is a core required course in horticulture.Students gain an understanding of the critical role of excellent varieties in fruit tree production and the development status of Fruit Tree Breeding both domestically and internation-ally in this course.As a traditional course,Fruit Tree Breeding faces higher demands for talent cultivation in agricultural and forestry universities under the new agricultural science framework.This paper discusses the application of virtual simulation tech-nology in fruit tree breeding teaching and the importance of ideological and political education construction in course construc-tion,aiming to promote the application of virtual simulation technology in professional courses and strengthen the role and signif-icance of ideological and political construction.
