Clinical effects of Danlou Tablets combined with Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets on patients with stable angina pectoris of Intermingled Phlegm and Blood Stasis Pattern
AIM To investigate the clinical effects of Danlou Tablets combined with Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets on patients with stable angina pectoris of Intermingled Phlegm and Blood Stasis Pattern.METHODS Eighty patients were randomly assigned into the control group(40 cases)for 8-week administration of Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets, and observation group(40 cases)for 8-week administration of both Danlou Tablets and Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets. The changes in clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome scores, vascular endothelial function indices(NO,VEGF,ET-1),lipid-related indices(TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,lipoprotein a,ApoB/A1),24 h dynamic electrocardiogram indices(ischemic attack number, longest duration, total cardiac ischemia load),SAQ score and safety indices(AST,ALT,Scr,BUN)were detected.RESULTS The observation group demonstrated higher total effective rate than the control group(P<0.05).After the treatment, the two groups displayed decreased TCM syndrome scores,ET-1,TC,TG,LDL-C,lipoprotein a,ApoB/A1,24 h dynamic electrocardiogram indices(P<0.05),and increased NO,VEGF,HDL-C,SAQ score(P<0.05),especially for the observation group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION For the patients with stable angina pectoris due to Binding of Phlegm and Blood Stasis,Danlou Tablets combined with Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets can safely and effectively improve myocardial ischemia degree and clinical symptoms, regulate blood lipids, and alleviate vascular endothelial damage.
