随着经济与社会的飞速发展，整个社会电力的需求量急剧上升，传统发电技术已经无法满足客观需求，新技术、新能源亟待开发利用。风电技术成为一种新技术被运用于电力系统，发挥着积极作用。文章首先简单介绍了风力发电的发展概况，然后分析了风力发电对电力系统带来的影响以及调频技术的应用。
