Research progress of test-tube seedling rooting in papaya
Inducing root culture of test-tube seedlings is the key technique of tissue culture of papaya.The quantity and quality of adventitious roots are the key factors for successful domestication of test-tube seedlings.In this paper,the research progress of adventitious root induction in tissue culture of papaya in recent decades was summarized from the aspects of variety differences,source of explants,medium,plant hormones,culture procedures and so on,and the future research direction was prospected,in order to provide some strategies and ideas for further research on tissue culture rooting techniques of papaya.
