Correlation analysis between soil acidity and fruit nutrient elements in apple orchards in Shandong Province
The distribution characteristics and correlation of soil pH value and nutrient elements such as N,P,K,Ca,Mg,Fe,Zn,Cu and B in 77 apple orchards in Shandong Province were investigated. The results showed that the average soil pH value of apple orchards in Shandong was 5.50,and 42.86% of the orchards in acidic soil were between 4.5 and 5.5.The orchards in acidic soil were the most widely distributed in Shandong apple producing areas. The pH value of Yiyuan and Yishui counties in the Taiyi mountain area was above 5.5,and the degree of soil acidification was weak.In Yantai, except Haiyang, the orchards in other 7 counties had acid soil, among which Muping and Qixia had the lowest pH value. In Weihai area, the pH value of Huancui is lower than 5.0,and that of Wendeng and Rongcheng is higher than 5.5.The degree of soil acidification varies significantly in different regions.Soil pH value affect the contents of various nutrient elements in fruits.Soil pH value was negatively correlated with nitrogen in fruit. There was significant or extremely significant positive correlation with calcium, magnesium and iron.Extensive soil acidification in apple orchards and the consequent reduction of calcium, magnesium and other elements in fruit should be paid attention to.It is suggested to control the input of nitrogen fertilizer, attach importance to the application of organic fertilizer and the supplement of calcium fertilizer and magnesium fertilizer in the soil management of apple orchard, and promote the high-quality and efficient production of apple.
