Effect of xenia effect on fruit quality of Actinidia arguta'Changjiang 1'
Actinidia arguta is dioecious plant with few suitable male plants. In order to explore the influence of xenia effect on fruit quality, pollinating male plants were scientifically allocated.Using Actinidia arguta'Changjiang 1'as the mother,20 different male plants were collected for artificial pollination, the changes of fruit setting rate and fruit quality were analyzed, and fruit quality was evaluated comprehensively based on principal component analysis, and suitable male plants were screened. The results showed that xenia effect on fruit setting rate, fruit weight, fruit shape index, soluble solid content, titrable acid content, solid acid ratio, vitamin C content, polyphenol content, flavonoid content, total amino acid content and total mineral content. The flavonoid content was increased by 103.45%,which was the most significant index;the flowering period of SNXS005,SNXS003,SNXS020,SNXS014 and SNXS017 male plants were consistent with'Changjiang 1',and the contemporary fruit set rate was good and the comprehensive fruit quality was excellent after pollination, which had the potential as suitable male plants for'Changjiang 1'.This study provides scientific reference for the breeding male plants of Actinidia arguta.
