Research progress on guava fruit quality and its influencing factors
Fruit quality is one of the important factors influencing consumers'choice of fruits,and it is also an important basis to determine the value of their products and whether it can be popularized.Guava,as an important economic fruit tree widely planted in tropical and subtropical areas,has high edible value and medicinal value,and has become one of the excellent and rare tropical fruits to increase the income of fruit farmers in China.In recent years,great progress has been made on the study of guava fruit quality at home and abroad.This paper summarizes the main fruit quality of guava,including appearance quality,nutrition quality and flavor quality(taste quality and aroma quality),and discusses the factors affecting the quality of guava fruit,including variety,water and fertilizer management,cultivation management,harvesting,storage and transportation,in order to provide reference for improving the quality of guava fruit.
