Effect of different harvesting periods on'Huagan 4'citrus fruit quality
Taking'Huagan 4'citrus as test material, the principal component analysis method was used to study the effects of different harvesting periods on the postharvest storage quality,so as to provide a reference for the appropriate harvesting. The results showed that as the harvest period was delayed, the single fruit weight of'Huagan 4'fruit increased and then stabilized, the edible rate gradually decreases, the soluble solid and total sugar content gradually increased, the sugar acid ratio first increased and then decreased, and the vitamin C content significantly decreased. The edible rate at harvesting periodⅠand periodⅡshowed a decreasing trend, while the soluble solid content showed a slight upward trend at each periods during storage. The total acid content gradually decreased, and the maximum decrease with harvesting periodⅠ.The vitamin C content decreased in three harvesting periods, with the largest decrease at harvesting periodⅢ.Comprehensive analysis showed that the most suitable harvesting period for short-term storage of'Huagan 4'was in late January with a storage period of 30 days, and the long term storage was in end December with 60 days storage for the best.
