Countermeasures and suggestions on high quality development of sweet cherry in the central and southern regions of Shandong Province
Since its development of the sweet cherry in the 1980s,the central and southern regions of Shandong have become the core production area of Shandong Province sweet cherry after more than 40 years of practical exploration,playing an important role in enriching people's income and supporting rural revitalization.The planting pattern of combining open-air planting and greenhouse planting effectively extends the supply time of sweet cherry in the region,forming a development pattern of seasonal production and phased listing.This article analyzes the current situation of the sweet cherry industry in the central and southern regions of Shandong Province.The region is one of the four major cherry production areas in China and the largest greenhouse cherry planting area in the country.Yanya Town,Yiyuan County,Zibo City,has the largest sweet cherry trading market in the country and has been rated as one of the first national agricultural industry strong towns(sweet cherry).Linqu County,Weifang City,has been awarded the title of"the first county of greenhouse cherries in China".We have sorted out the problems existing in the low level of standardized production,lagging construction of marketing chains,and insufficient application of digital technology in brand building,and clarified the overall idea that should be established for the high-quality development of sweet cherry.We have put forward six countermeasures and suggestions,including strengthening scientific and technological innovation leadership,optimizing planting variety structure,promoting standard intensive production,enhancing quality brand value,strengthening industrial integration development,and establishing a complete promotion service system,in order to achieve high-quality development of the sweet cherry industry,promote rural revitalization and agricultural and rural economic development.
