Effect of different cultivation modes on fruit quality in yellow passion fruit
Taking yellow passion fruit as the experimental material in Anshun area of Guizhou Province to study the effect of facility and open field cultivation modes on the fruit quality.Compared the environmental factors and phenological periods, the average temperature of facility cultivation was higher than that of open field cultivation from March to October.Under facility cultivation, the yellow passion fruit can bloom and bear fruit earlier, extending the fruit harvest period. The fruit quality under facility cultivation was significantly higher than that under open field cultivation from different harvest time. The quality of fruits harvested in August and September under facility cultivation was good.Based on the correlation analysis results, the fruit quality was correlated with temperature and humidity, except for fruit shape index.Based on the grey correlation analysis results, the environmental factors that have the greatest impact on fruit quality were average temperature, average maximum temperature, average minimum temperature, effective accumulated temperature, and the relative humidity of the air, respectively.Determining the flavonoid enzymatic activity of fruits harvested in September, the 4CL and CHI activity significantly increased in the facility cultivation, while C4H activity was significantly reduced. The total flavonoid content was significantly positively correlated with 4CL activity and CHI activity, and negatively correlated with C4H activity. Thus, facility cultivation can improve the environmental conditions required for fruit growth, prolong the fruit harvest period, and improve fruit quality.Facility cultivation is suitable for application and promotion in the central region of Guizhou.
