Investigation and identification of peach virus and virus-like species in Hebei Province based on RT-PCR
Viruses are one of the causes of peach fruit yield and quality decline, and RT-PCR is a commonly used molecular biology method to detect viruses. In this study,13 viruses were detected in 113 peach samples from Hebei Province using RT-PCR,and the results showed that 10 viruses including ACLSV,PBNSPaV,HSVd,NSPaV,PNRSV,PaLV,PLMVD,APCLSV,PeVD,and PPV were detected, among which the highest detection rate was found for ACLSV,and the highest detection rate was for PBNSPaV and HSVd the detection rate of both viruses. The viruses had the phenomenon of compound infestation, with the highest detection rates for triple and quadruple infestation, and no samples that were not infested with viruses and single infestation were detected. This study lays a theoretical foundation for peach virus removal and virus-free seedling breeding in Hebei Province.
