Effects of temperature and medicament on pollen germination and pollen tube growth in vitro of'Tainong 1'mango
The aim of this study was to explore the effects of temperature and common pesticides used to control powdery mildew, downy mildew, anthracnose and thrips on pollen germination and pollen tube growth of'Tainong 1'using liquid culture medium in vitro,to screen low-toxicity agents. The results showed that pollen did not germ when the temperature was lower than 15.0℃,pollen germination rate increased slowly with the increase of temperature between 15.0℃and 20.0℃,and the pollen germination rate and pollen tube length reached the peak at 27.5℃.When the temperature was higher than 27.5℃,the pollen germination rate and pollen tube length both decreased with the increase of temperature. The germination rate was 35.74%at 40.0℃.In the study of 31 commonly used pesticides added to the culture medium respectively,it was found that under the experimental concentration, the effects of different pesticides on pollen germination and pollen tube growth were significantly different.Compared with the blank control without adding fungicides,"yingteng"had no significant inhibition on pollen germination and pollen tube growth,"shike""antaisheng""meitian"had no significant effect on the germination rate, but there were significant inhibition on pollen tube growth,9 types of pesticides had significant inhibition on both pollen germination and pollen tube growth,18 types of pesticides made pollen not germinate at all.It was found that the pollen germination rate of 2 combinations was not significantly decreased, but the pollen tube length was significantly decreased, the pollen germination rate and the pollen tube length were significantly decreased in 11 combinations, and the pollen did not germinate at all in 3 combinations.
