Study of suitable harvest period of'Taishan 1'kiwifruit and its storage performance
Taking the main kiwifruit cultivar'Taishan 1'in Shandong Province as test material, the fruit quality related indexes of kiwifruit fruits were comparatively analyzed at seven harvesting periods(123 days,130 days,137 days,144 days,151 days,158 days and 165 days after peak flowering)during the storage period at room temperature[(25±1)℃].The results showed that the optimum harvesting period of'Taishan 1'was 137 days to 144 days after peak flowering,at which time the hardness of harvested fruits was more than 6.00 kg/cm2,the dry matter content was 16%~18%,the soluble solids content was 6.5%~7.5%,the number of days of ripening at room temperature was 18 days, and the solid-acid ratio was the highest, with strong flavor.130 days after peak flowering and before, the fruit quality was low,for early picking;151~165 days peak flowering, the fruit hardness was obviously reduced,no longer suitable for long-distance transportation and storage, belongs to late picking.
