Genetic diversity analysis of fruit main traits of 4 pineapple varieties introduced by Guizhou Province
In order to promote the evaluation and genetic improvement of the main traits of the fruits introduced from pineapple resources in Guizhou Province, this study took 4 pineapple varieties introduced from Guizhou Province as experimental materials, and analyzed the genetic diversity of 9 fruit main traits for two consecutive years by statistical analysis, correlation analysis and variance analysis. The results showed that the fruit-related traits varied greatly among the 4 pineapple varieties, with coefficients of variation ranging from 8.01%to 48.46%,which are rich in genetic diversity and have high potential for genetic improvement. The broad-sense heritabilities for soluble solids content, titratable acid content, vitamin C content, and total sugar content and solid-acid ratio were all greater than 90%,indicating that these traits were less affected by environmental factors. The results of the two-by-two comparison of the traits were six pairs at the highly significant level and three pairs at the significant level, suggesting a strong correlation between the intrinsic quality components of the fruits. The ANOVA results showed that most of the traits were highly significantly different among varieties. Most of the traits showed significant differences between years, but the titratable acid content, vitamin C content, and total sugar content as well as the solid-acid ratio and single fruit weight were highly significantly different from the interaction effect between year and variety. The above results laid a foundation for further research on the internal relationship of pineapple fruit traits, and provided a reference for the evaluation of imported pineapple resources and the directional breeding of excellent germplasm in Guizhou Province.
