Analysis on the Competitiveness of China's Productive Service Trade under the Background of RCEP
Under the profound changes unseen in a century, the RCEP is of great significance in enhancing the confidence of all countries in the multilateral trading system, promoting economic recovery, and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.Based on the import and export data of productive services trade between China and some other RCEP members from 2018 to 2022,this paper analyzes the competitiveness of productive services trade. The research shows that compared with RCEP countries,China has the largest productive services market, fast export growth, strong comprehensive competitiveness of productive services trade, high export market share of transport services, competitive advantages in telecommunications, computer services and commodity-related services, and weak competitiveness in intellectual property services, financial services and insurance services.Based on this,we should actively promote supply-side reform, optimize the import and export structure of productive service trade, deepen cooperation with RCEP member states on productive service trade, and use the digital economy to enable the deep integration of manufacturing and service industries,so as to stabilize and strengthen China's competitive advantage in productive service trade, and achieve the new normal of high-quality development of the economy.
