The Research on Comparison of Inactivated Vaccine between Cattle and Sheep with Foot and Mouth Disease in Inner Mongolia
In order to master the immune effect of foot and mouth disease ( FMD) vaccine accurately, we monitored the immunity efficacy of foot and mouth disease vaccines used in Inner Mongolia in 2012. We collected 23018 serums of animals from 8 flag counties which had been immunized with strain 0 and strain Asia I foot and mouth disease inactivated bivalent vaccine 15 days, 30 days, 60 days ago. The antibody titer was detected by liquid phase blocking ELISA. The results showed that the overall immunity efficacy of foot and mouth disease vaccine was good, and the qualified rate of immune antibody was 70%;the immunity efficacy of large-scale farmers was steady, and it showed poor stability in free-ranging areas. The immunity efficacy of foot and mouth disease vaccines from different manufacturers was different. After booster immunization, the immune antibody of the vaccines from manufacturers A, B and D were completely qualified. The vaccines from manufacturer C showed poorer immune effect, the qualified rate was 93.3%. We conducted antibody detection to cattle and sheep from different areas using 3ABC-ELISA detection kit, the results were negative.
