In order to promote the inheritance and innovative development of veterinary Chinese medicine preparation technology,this article summarizing the inheritance of Chinese veterinary prescription,studies the development of modern processes such as pulverization,ultramicro pulverization,and extraction,analyzes the problems of dosage form positioning and production feeding,explores the direction and ways of inheritance and innovation of veterinary Chinese medicine preparation technology,and proposes revision suggestions for the General Principles of Formulation in the Chinese Veterinary Pharmacopoeia,Provide reference for the research of veterinary Chinese medicine preparations and the compilation of the 2025 edition of the Chinese Veterinary Phar-macopoeia.
