Comparative Study of Methods for Evaluating the Efficacy of Swine Pseudorabies Vaccines
Porcine pseudorabies is an acute viral infectious disease that poses a serious threat to the pig industry, and vaccine immunisation is an effective means of its prevention and control. At present, there are 48 products approved for clinical trials, and 14 swine pseudorabies vaccines, involving 10 strains, have been formally approved for registration and production, with numerous methods and different standards for evaluating their efficacy. In this paper,a comparative study was made on the effectiveness evaluation methods of swine pseudorabies vaccines, with a view to providing ideas for further standardisation of vaccine effectiveness evaluation methods and the establishment of common quality standards.
