To steadily promote and realize the reduction of the use of antimicrobials in laying hen production in Shandong province,improve the quality and safety level of eggs,and effectively protect the health of people.This paper investigates and analyzes the current situation and countermeasures of medication in laying hen production from four aspects:the current situation of laying hen production and the use of antimicrobials,the measures and achievements in promoting the safe use of antimicrobials in laying hen production of Shandong province,the existing outstanding problems,and future direction of efforts and suggestions.It will provide reference ideas for promoting the healthy development of laying hens production and improving the quality and safety of animal products in Shandong province.
