This paper analyzes the corrosion environment of chemical equipment pipelines,and performance requirements and possibilities for waterborne coatings for external anti-corrosion,and introduces the technology development status of waterborne coatings outside chemical equipment pipelines.The problems existing in the promotion and application of waterborne coatings in the field of external anti-corrosion of chemical equipment pipelines are elaborated,and future development is envisioned.
