Preparation of Waterborne Reflective Thermal Insulation Coatings and Factors Influencing Performance
This research examines the important components of reflective thermal insulation coatings and the factors that influence their performance.The study employed a single variable control method to investigate the effects of hollow glass beads and rutile titanium dioxide on the water permeability,stain resistance,sunlight reflection,and thermal insulation performance of reflective thermal insulation coatings.The film-forming material used in the experiment was pure acrylic latex,and the functional fillers were rutile titanium dioxide and hollow glass beads.Based on the basic formula system,comprehensive properties of the coatings,such as sunlight reflectance ratio,thermal insulation temperature difference,water permeability,and stain resistance,were identified,and waterborne reflective thermal insulation coatings with excellent comprehensive properties were created.The results show that the reflective thermal insulation filler not only influences the sunlight reflection and thermal insulation performance,but also has a significant effect on the water resistance and stain resistance of the coatings.
