This article presents an overview of the excavation of prehistoric lacquerware,proposes the four major elements of lacquerware invention,briefly introduces important prehistoric lacquerware relics,analyzes and demonstrates prehistoric lacquer literature materials,and finally provides a summary of prehistoric lacquerware.
