Research Progress of Tin-free Self-polishing Antifouling Coatings
The attachment of marine fouling organisms has been affecting the development of marine transportation and marine engineering industry.In order to alleviate the problems caused by the attachment of marine organisms,anti-fouling coatings are widely used,and tin-free self-polishing coatings(TFSPC)have become the mainstream product in the anti-fouling coatings market as a result of their excellent anti-fouling performance and low toxicity.In this paper,the working mechanism,composition and current application of tin-free self-polishing coatings are discussed in detail.
