According to the working environment and application requirements of commercial vehicles and the characteristics of the workpiece,the effects of epoxy resin and degassing agent on the appearance,luster and salt spray resistance of the coatings were discussed by selecting resin and additives.By testing the influence of catalyst and bentonite on the corner coverage of the powder coatings,the powder coatings suitable for commercial vehicles were prepared.The optimum dosage of each additive in the formula(wt.%)was:0.5%benzoin,1.0%defoamer,0.6%catalyst and 1.3%bentonite.
