The performance characteristics,odor intensity,volatilization rate,neutralization capacity,and pH value regulation efficiency of common pH value regulators in the market were discussed,and the effects on coatings odor,pH value adjustment efficiency,storage stability,water resistance and alkali resistance in latex coatings formulations were discussed.In practice,appropriate pH value regulators should be selected according to the properties of the formulations.
