GB 1103.1-2023"Cotton Part 1:Sawtooth Processing of fine lint cotton"will be officially implemented on September 1,2024.The new version of the standard has been updated and upgraded according to the major changes in the cotton industry and the progress of cotton inspection technology in the past 10 years,and the upgrading of technical equipment.By comparing the new and old standards,this paper expounds the differences between the new and old standards and the significance of issuing and implement-ing them from the aspects of relevant technical index requirements and inspection methods,so that the relevant technical personnel can understand the new standard more quickly and comprehensively.
