This article introduces the twist testing method of yarn and points out that the untwisting and twisting method is greatly affected by the pre-tension,but the pre-tension cannot be determined by the standards,however,the B method(secondary method)and the third untwisting and twisting method in the standard are both difficult to solve this problem.This article proves that it is the only way to determine the pre-tension by preliminary experiments,by conducting and comparing the test results of direct counting method and untwisting and twisting method,based on the difference and the principle of positive linear correlation.This method is concise and fast,and ensures the result accuracy and reliability.
