Experimental analysis and research of factors affecting filling power of down
The filling power of down is a crucial indicator for evaluating the thermal performance of down products,as it not only impacts the weight, thickness, and comfort of the products, but also directly determines their thermal insulation effectiveness.By conducting systematic experiments and theoretical analyses, this study examines the influence of down content and moisture content on filling power. The test results demonstrate that an increase in feather content leads to a higher degree of loftiness while an increase in moisture content results in reduced volume.Through fitting analysis of test data,a mathematical model is established to predict filling power of down and derive relevant equations. These findings provide a scientific foundation for designing and producing high-quality down products while optimizing their loft performance to deliver enhanced warmth experience.
