Influence of derivatization reagent preparation on the determination of formaldehyde in textiles by HPLC method
According to GB/T 2912.3-2009"Textiles-Determination of formaldehyde-Part 3:High performance liquid chromatography method",different ratios of derivatization reagents were used to derivatize formaldehyde standard solution. The formaldehyde content was determined by comparing the standard working curves of formaldehyde with their respective ratios. The results indicate that as the proportion of acetonitrile(containing 0.5%acetic acid)in the derivatization reagent increases, the slope of the formaldehyde standard curve gradually increased, leading to enhanced detection sensitivity. Moreover, when the ratio of acetonitrile(containing 0.5%acetic acid)to water in the derivatization reagent was between 40/60 and 60/40,the detection results were accurate, with a recovery rate ranging from 98.9%to 102.7%.
