Study on the detection method of caffeine in sports shoe fabric
The caffeine was extracted from the fabric under high temperature and high pressure condition in hydrothermal reactor, and a method for the detection of caffeine in textile was established by liquid chromatography. The pretreatment methods of textile fabrics such as cutting, grinding, ultrasonic and hydrothermal reaction conditions, and the specific parameters of caffeine determination by liquid chromatography were optimized. The results showed that the concentration and signal of caffeine showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.05 mg/L~50 mg/L,R2 was 0.9999,and the limit of detection and limit of quantitation were 0.4 mg/kg and 2.0 mg/kg,respectively.The standard interlining of polyester and polyamide, the most common matrix of caffeine fibers, was tested by spiking experiments at low, medium and high levels. The recoveries and relative standard deviations were in the range of 84.6~95.4%and 3.34~6.46%,respectively.The test method of caffeine content in functional fabrics developed in this study can fully extract caffeine from fabrics, and its accuracy and stability can meet the requirements of daily testing. It can be used for the detection of caffeine in functional textiles and provide data support for enterprises producing caffeine fabrics.
