Carbon emission structure calculation and low-carbon path research in the clothing and textile industry
Green transformation is an inevitable choice for China's clothing and textile industry to achieve carbon peak goals, and it is also a key way to enhance industry competitiveness. This article selects various green indicators of China's clothing and textile industry, uses the Emission Coefficient Method(IPCC)to calculate the carbon emissions of China's clothing and textile industry from 2012 to 2021,and analyzes the structural characteristics of carbon emissions in the clothing and textile industry.Through research,it has been found that:(1)the carbon emissions of the three major sub industries show the same fluctuation trend as the overall industry, with the textile sub industry having the greatest impact on the carbon emissions of the entire industry;(2)The emergence of green energy has not fundamentally changed the energy structure of the industry;(3)The overall green innovation capability in the industry is weak, and the understanding and practice of sustainable development are relatively backward.Based on this, this article proposes possible paths to achieve low-carbon development in the industry in response to existing problems.
