Analysis of the competitiveness of textile and clothing enterprises in Jiangsu province Based on DEA-Tobit Method
Against the backdrop of studying the competitiveness of Jiangsu province's textile and apparel companies,this study is based on the financial data of 12 Jiangsu province-listed textile companies in 2023.It employs the DEA-Tobit two-step method to analyze five indicators.Through DEA-BCC model analysis of the data from the 12 listed textile companies,it was found that the majority of enterprises'comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency,and scale efficiency were close to 1,indicating relative-ly efficient production processes and scale operations.However,a few enterprises had lower comprehensive efficiency,with lower technical and scale efficiencies.Tobit regression analysis showed that fixed asset net value,number of employees,and R&D expen-diture significantly influenced enterprise comprehensive efficiency.It is recommended that companies strengthen production process optimization,rational resource allocation,and increase R&D investment to enhance comprehensive efficiency and achieve sustain-able development.
