In this paper,the stability of microwave method and resistance method in moisture regain test of baled cotton is analyzed.It is pointed out that the moisture regain test of baled cotton is considerably affected by ambient temperature and humidity,and nei-ther resistance method nor microwave method can eliminate the influence of ambient temperature and humidity,which shows that the conditioned weight of baled cotton is not constant,and the CV value of the conditioned weight of baled cotton exceeds 0.5％un-der different temperature and humidity conditions.On this basis,the paper analyzes the"profit and loss"of the conditioned weight of Xinjiang baled cotton,and suggests optimizing the settlement method of the conditioned weight of Xinjiang baled cotton,that is,to revise the origin conditioned weight of Xinjiang baled cotton,and the difference of the conditioned weight should be resettled.In this way,reduce the trade disputes caused by the large difference of baled cotton conditioned weight between the supply and de-mand,and maintain the fairness and justice in the settlement of baled cotton trade.
