This paper mainly discusses the current application status of azo dyes,elucidates the hazards of banned azo dyes,rele-vant standards for banned azo dyes both domestically and internationally.By combining the detection mechanisms of banned azo dyes,a comprehensive review of current research and applications of detection methods for banned azo dyes is conducted,aiming to provide guidance for a faster,more effective,and accurate detection of banned azo dyes.
