In recent years,China's honey trade surplus has been shrinking due to the growth of imports and the decrease of exports.This paper uses trade data to analyze the trade structure and characteristics,examine the trade situation,and combine with the domestic market survey data of honey products,import and export inspection and quarantine bulletin,and the latest research on the quality and composition of honey,to make a judgment on China's honey export situation and market situation.The study concluded that technical barriers to trade to a certain extent restricts China's honey export volume and price growth,but more importantly,honey market segmentation and product brand creation has a greater impact on the import and export market.China's bee industry urgently needs to establish a product standardization system,develop the quality standards and beneficial components of China's characteristic honey varieties,and at the same time carry out consumer science and technology activities,learn from foreign honey brand building experience,publicize the health care functions of China's characteristics of honey,promote the production methods of mature honey,and establish a market mechanism for high quality and good price of bee products.
