This study aims to explore the market characteristics and price behavior of imported honey in Hangzhou from 2014 to 2023.Through in-depth analysis of 1246 pieces of data collected from market research,this article provides a detailed comparison of imported honey from different varieties,brands,and origins,as well as their prices.The research results indicate that the number of imported honey varieties continues to shrink,the brand elimination rate is high,and the origin tends to be centralized.Honey produced in New Zealand dominates the market.These factors collectively reflect the highly competitive environment of the market.In addition,the overall price of imported honey is on the rise,with significant price differences between different varieties and brands,and the prices of imported honey in shopping malls are generally higher than those in supermarkets.This article provides some insights into the development trend of imported honey in the domestic market.
